Tiu Tiu Tiu

Attended lessons today for the SAR 21. It’s a locally designed and constructed assault rifle. Pretty cool stuff, uncool weather though. Guessed everyone was rather pissed at the weather. Plus the boring lessons weren’t helping it.

Anyway, there was a point where we had to simulate rifle firing. So we hand to go “bang bang bang”. Yes I know it’s stupid, it looked stupid too but hey! Welcome to the SAF. Haha. When it came to my group’s turn, just as the sarge yelled “rifles firing!” one joker went,

“Tiu tiu tiu”

Every one laughed. That was unexpected. Heh

I was that joker. Peace.

Whirlwind

Had a great weekend! Caught “Dreams of the red chambers” at the new Nanyang Academy Of Fine Arts. It was… *Shakes head at loss of words* refreshing? Overwhelming? Enlightening?

It’s a full, raw deal mandarin classical musical. Couldn’t make out half of what they were singing. Thanks to all the training back in RV, I could at least catch some of it. Heh, met up with Wendy for the first time. Such a sweet girl. What a small world. She’s terry’s junior. And there was some networking in progress. Haha. Might end up interning for Terry at Oneeyeclick.

Hope she wasn’t too bored by the musical. It’s beginning to feel so much like a bad mistake to have asked her. Sorry gal, hope you weren’t too bored.

Oh! Jennifer wrote the score for the musical (That’s why we went in the first place). How cool is that? She’s super talented can? The musical was impressive… Esp the props and all. Think they spent two bombs on them. They hoisted a two story tall wooden pillar UP and out of view! Can you imagine how tall the ceiling backstage is?

Anyway, felt like printing a t-shirt that read “I Survived…. Dreams Of The Red Chambers” Heh, am so glad I din get Miss Chew to go.

I’m a KID!!!

Went out with Christine on Sunday. Caught Spongebob The Movie. IT IS HILARIOUS. You must catch it ok? Promise? Hahahha am so afraid you ppl will miss out on this corny gem.

Had fun talking to her. She looks great with the glowing tan. Too bad I missed seeing her hair when she just cut it. Haha, it’s so tempting to rob her. (private joke here). Take care man. Dun keep that voice away, find it soon!

Went over to Terry’s in the evening. He was doing a shoot for Jennifer’s graduating portfolio. Such an eye opener. Helped do some stuff and throw ideas around. Really fun! Took a few shots myself too. Haha. Shall see how it turns out.

Man, it’s been so hard to come up with this short entry. Guess it’s hard to come up with something after such a long hiatus. Oh well there’s more in the works, I promise.
