Outing with Lalala

Celebrated Sheila’s birthday on Sunday. Guess what? I got her a manicure at Hollywood Secrets, after that, had lunch at Dan Ryan’s. Haiz. Hate that woman sometime… the surprise was pretty much under wraps until she somehow guessed it. Growls. Hate the way that char bor can second-guess me sometime. Nonetheless, she was still surprised. Hahaha too bad she trimmed her nail before that. So couldn’t get her a French manicure, had to settle for a normal one.

Sheila can be such a klutz sometime. Couldn’t keep her hands still. Barely seconds after the manicure, one of her finger had an “accident”. The lady had to redo her nail. Hahaha. Was so worried for her “articulate” fingers, we could easily be stuck there for the whole day man.

Walked to Dan Ryan’s after the manicure. Love that place. Been there at least four times already. We shared a Chili Cheese Fries; she had Club Sandwich and orange juice. Me? Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich and ice tea. The ice tea there is great, not the usual season’s or Lipton kind of crap. Freshly brewed! Yum! Hahaha. Conspired with the waiter on my way to the washroom, got him to put something together for her. He got her a small choc cake complete with candle. You should see her face man. Grins. Too bad the choir wasn’t around. Anyway, the manager took a photo for us with the digicam. Yup, they’ve upgraded. Used to use the old Polaroid. They will email her the photo when it’s ready. Will post it up on my photo page when she forwards it to me.

Pretty much walked around town after that. She tried on some tops but they looked kinda funny with her bloated stomach. Hahahaha. They’re not kiddin when they say Dan Ryan’s serve American portion. Anyway, she bought a black, flora-print, off shoulder top, which I think looks great on her. Damn sexy! Hahaha. (Now, who dares to say that I’m mean to people on their birthdays?)
