Went to Kino yesterday. Haven’t been there in ages. Jammed packed. Bought two books – The Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk and I, Lucifer by Glen Duncan. Helped Bijun got the Last Juror by John Grisham. Was kinda rushing for Cell Group, couldn't wait for someone to msg me. So sorry C, couldn't get The Life of Pi for you. Feels bad.
The Fight Club reminds me of The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. Books, which explores people turning insane, are such a joy to read. Everything’s so warped, incredulous and yet, there’s this sense of order. Esp. so in the Bell Jar, Plath’s account of how exactly she went insane step by step. She was going mad, and she knows it! How exciting!
It’s like you know you’re going off your knockers and yet you allow yourself to! Such indulgence! Such a thrill!
Shall let you peeps know how that two books are when I’m done. Shouldn’t be a disappointment at all.
Road Trippin
Ok. Maybe that’s an exaggeration.
Heading to Genting this December for church camp. May be heading to Bangkok, Thailand for shopping in March. So excited. Looking forward to it all already.
Should be pretty fun. Yay!
Can’t Wait.
I can’t wait. It’s beginning to feel a lot more like Xmas already.
