Little Critters In A Pond Of Emerald

Yea. Went prawning the other day with Sam and her friend Yushan. Real small world. She was from RVHS too and she knows some of the people I do. Hahhaha talk abt coincidence, she was standing beside me the whole time I was waiting for Sam at the theater. (We caught the Matrix before that.) Like I mentioned. The movie was excellent, headed to the prawning pool after that. It’s located at some god-forsaken Chinese Garden Road. Hahaha

Spent three hours there. Kind of overkill if you ask me. Anyway, SO MANY PRAWNS GOT AWAY!!! Man, at least a good ten of them! *Growls* We had fun; nothing beats the thrill of having one of em tugging at the end of the rod, struggling for their life. Nothing can beat the joy of lifting them out of the water. Nothing can beat the stench on your fingers after handling the cockles (bait) too. Haha. Sam had to suggest KFC (Finger licking good or finger licking toxicity in this case) for dinner. *In a low voice* I think she’s trying to poison me. Muahahahahha

Talked quite a bit with Yushan. She’s so friendly! Anyway, she suggested that the three of us go to the Busker’s Fest together.

Busker’s Fest

Yup, We’ll most prob be heading down this Friday! Yay! Can’t wait. Hope it’s still on.

June and Yushan

Hee. No scandalous thoughts now… Hahaha why is this entry about them? Just read on….

Met up with June the other day for dinner. Haha so nice of here to come down to West Mall when she lives near town. Sorry hon, will make it up to you another time. Anyway, she still looks the same, fair, rosy cheeks and all. Hahaha oh, and her SMILE! Those mesmerizing pearly whites of hers. And the smile that she so readily flashes at people. Hmmm… those cheered me up a great deal that day. so lucky to have known her.

Hee, there’s something about Yushan. I admit to staring at her several times during dinner. Think it’s her chirpiness and friendliness. After enlistment, it has been a very long while since I came across so much fizz and energy. Somehow, in a way, it’s rather refreshing hanging out with her. You know, refreshing like when a gush of cold biting wind blows on you. The feeling of life and energy flowing and biting and rattling into your every muscles and bones? Yet, what lingers isn’t chilliness, instead it’s warmth. Warmth that lingers slowly before ebbing away.

Addictive warmth.

Crikey

A wave of bull courage swept over me at the witching hour of near midnight yesterday. I asked her out for the weekend.

She had plans already. :(
