I Can’t Cook But I Can Muck Around & Imagine

Was feeling creative this afternoon. Rummaged through the fridge for stuff and viola!

Mike’s Asian Mojito

1. Take a lump of ginger, peel and crush.
2. Boil crushed ginger with 3 cups of water for approximately 30 mins. (over a gentle flame of course)
3. Strain and heat the ginger “juice” with one and a half cup of sugar.
4. Reduce till thick syrup is left. Set aside to cool.

5. Take a high ball glass. Fill with ice.
6. Fill with one part ginger syrup, one part Bombay Sapphire Gin, two parts 7-up.

7. Take a long drink.

Having one as I speak… What can I say? I’m good. It’s quite nice really. Sweet with a hint of the spiciness. Just a bare hint. Bombay is always good.

Waltzing On Glass Is No Way To Survive

Cause he wasn’t that smart and she wasn’t so strong
But they went through the motions as if they belonged
Playing their parts in this travelling show
And they haven’t got too far to go

Kids

Was on my way home when I saw this lil kid playing with a credit card phamplet. Such irony… do you remember the time when you were a kid and a simple A4 piece or card could keep you occupied and enthralled for hours?

Oh, he will grow up to be fascinated with cards alright.

Just a very different kind.
