What A Week.

Helped out with carnival preparation on Saturday. Had fun, been ages since I worked together with a group of people. Putting stuff together, chatting, cracking jokes. Heard the carnival went well. Didn't go down in the end. Wanted some time for myself. Decided that there's no need for me to try turning up for all their activities. Will only burn myself out.

Heard all went well and loads of kids turned up for our games stall. They ought to! Hahaha everything was done up so nicely and cartoonish. Heh. Will be meeting up with them again this weekend.

Bought pork jerky for dad. It's father's day and that's his favorite. Hope he likes em. Had dinner outside too. Dad opened a bottle of shiraz too. A tad too tannic for my liking. Heh.

Sandra's coming back on Wed! Yay! She's been away for 6 weeks plus. Misses her.

Blessed

Am blessed for friends around me. They never fail to cheer me up. Was talking abt stuff with June just now. Then somehow teased her abt her figure. (If you wanna know, her's great. I was just chiding her for fun). Anyway, mentioned that she might need Extrim, she retorted that if she needed Extrim, I'll need ExTRAtrim. Faints. That was pretty hilarious at that moment in time. Faints. That woman.... Never fails to crack me up.

New Friend.

Made a new friend under the weirdest possible conditions. A friend forwarded a number to me by mistake. So naturally I smsed to ask if that person knows me. Turned out to be a complete stranger. Anyway, we sorta aroused each others' curiosity and one thing led to another... We're "talking" now. Hahaha. Her name's Adeline. She's an artsy gal from Ajc.

I swear. If I so much as hear once more of that "Bai liu li bai, hui bu hui kai" ditty, I'll walk in front of a moving double Decker bus. That publicity stint is way over the top. Repeated at least a good eight times during my wait for the train. Like Von said, we should learn from the Japanese railway. Where all the advertisements are played muted. Argh. The thought that I'll be hearing that first thing in the morning at 5 tml.... Argh.

Helped Jiahui booked her chalet at Chevron. Hopes everything turns out well that day. Shall pray for good weather soon.

Bought new tooth paste. You'll be surprised what they include in its manufacture nowadays. Darlie's putting in "French Spring Water", so that "Freshness Stays Longer". Hahha, made in Malaysia with French ingredients. Hmmm, sounds.... a bit.... far fetched. Haha pardon the pun. But oh well, I fell for it nonetheless.

Had a great day today. Helped out with the games for the carnival. Love it when I get to put together/make stuff. Always feels so accomplished when it turns out fine in the end. Haha, what a small world. Met a new friend today, Henry. Guess what? We used to be from the same platoon back in Viper Bmtc. What a small world.

Irritated

Something happened these two days (Sat & Sun) that irritated the hell outta me. Saw how D treated his gf B, hmmm, maybe it's just me but I was quite irritated by his.... Callous actions? Hahaha, let's just say I speak to my Granny's maid in a better tone than his when he's talking to her. Plus, reprimanding someone loudly, IN PUBLIC is a major no-no. And we're talking abt ur gf here man.

From where I come from, that's not how you treat a lady. Maybe it's just me though. Maybe all couple "abuse" each other in their own ways. I dunno. Forgive me, it just didn't went down very well on my side.

Well, like wat Sandra mei said, "What's in a relationship stays in a relationship, don't make other's problems yours." So true, and I'm guilty of doing that all the time. Hmmmm......

I'll calm down after I go break some stuff...... Namely his neck. *devious grins*

Heh, just got home from Huiqing's belated bday celebration. Went bowling. Hope she like the Adidas wind breaker we got her. Hahaha We put it in a big photo frame from Ikea. The boxy kind. Haha my idea! Cool huh?

Anyway, went to Haisoon's place after that. Listened to some mandarin mp3 (so not my cup of tea). Then chatted abt the good ole times in Npcc. Reminisced abt the funny and heart warming moments we shared. Then Haisoon started taking out photos of us back in Npcc.

Oh my God. Never knew I looked so.. so... Bloated.

Haha, goodness. The spectacles we have on back then. The hairstyles we had on back then. It's so weird! We used to think those were cool! *shudders* Guess what really made my day, Haisoon actually kept the scripts/notes/scribbles of plays/skits and wat's not that we used to put up. My goodness. That was a classic "AWWWWW" moment. Never knew he was so sentimental. The good times we had really came rushing back. And I even remembered some queer stuff the NCOs made us do back in secondary one. Recalled an initiation "rite" we had in sec one. We had to feed each other with our spoon before using the same spoon to eat. The idea was that for the next four years to come, we'll be sharing whatever we had among all of us.

Remembered my partner was Jiahui, and thinking we could outsmart the NCOs, we swopped spoon after feeding each other. Thinking that we're safe.... Haha, not for long. The NCOs made us feed OURSELF right after we swopped the spoon. So, we had a "taste" of each other's saliva in the end anyway. God. Sure felt like a smart alec back then. Hahaha. Recalled how we had to share a bottle of mineral water among twenty plus of us too. Everyone will have to take a sip leaving anuff for the last man.

God bless the last man for by the time the water gets to him, it's always CHALKY. Hahaha.

Haiz. I miss those days. Life was much simpler then. Feeling fuzzy inside now.
